St. Tropez, France – April 2010

This is the first of my scheduled “catch up on the massive backlog of travel photography I’ve not shared on my blog” posts. Back in 2010 I decided to do a podcast called Luke Around the World where I talked about every travel location I visited, and shared my photographs here on the blog too. I kept it up for maybe 15 episodes, but as I travel a lot, it took up too much time and energy.

The first European destination I would have talked about, if I’d kept the podcast going, would have been St. Tropez, France. I visited while sailing on the Prinsendam in April, and so, as usual, that little ship featured quite prominently in a number of the photos.

St. Tropez is known as a shopping and vacation destination for rich people. From the few hours I spent wandering round and taking photographs, the projected image of the place held up.
