Bogota, Colombia – January 2011.

I flew from Manaus, Brazil to Curacao. I flew via Sao Paulo and Bogota. Those who are good at geography will wonder why I flew that route, as it’s really the loooong way around. Also I arrived in Bogota airport at 5am, and flew out at 3pm. That meant I had the whole morning to check out the capital of Columbia. Cool. It’s way high up in the mountains, so it’s not as if I’d ever visit on cruise ship.

Not much else to say about this. I walked around the city center. I took the funicular to the top of a hill. I met a llama. I hung out in a cafe and tried a coffee. I still don’t like coffee.
