As a test to see if this would work, the previous day I made a time lapse of the Juggle Slam, but I don’t think it made an interesting video at all. There was too much of people standing and talking and not enough action. The fashion show is all action, with no standing and talking (except at the very end), so makes a far more dynamic video.
Here’s a song I originally wrote back in 2010 as part of my “Song Per Month” project. It started life as a fully produced pop song, for inclusion on the album Two Minute Pop. You can listen to the original here:
Last summer I decided to extend it to make it funnier, to focus on the outcome of telling a girl you like them, and the true expectations and reactions of a 14 year old male. I’ve been performing this longer version of the song for about a year now, and it always gets a good response, so it’s become a fun opener for my short comedy music sets before I continue on the piano. I finally made a good video of it last night, so thought I’d share it here on my blog.
For the past few years I’ve been sharing photos I’ve taken at the European Juggling Convention and other juggling conventions on Facebook as well as here on my blog. Facebook is the best place to flick through the photos one by one, as you can see who is in them more easily (and even tag your friends), as well as making it very easy to like and comment on individual images.
However, I do like to share every photo here on my blog, and make it easy to download the highest resolution and best quality image. All images on my blog are under a Creative Commons 3.0 license, which means you can use them for non-commercial purposes, as long as you credit me and provide a link to this blog. If you want to use these photos for a commercial purpose (eg. in promotional material and on professional websites), email me at email@example.com and I almost invariably give permission.
Here are the links to the appropriate images on Facebook:
