Manuel Rospigliosi, Johan Flores, Jonathan Sajoux and Luke Burrage made it through to the semi-finals in the first ever Lima Fight Night (afternoon). The four matches that followed each define “a close-fought battle.” Yup, all four came down to the very last point!
Check out the video of every attack, defense, steal, hit, point, win and loss from the two semi-finals, the third place match and the final.
This was the first Fight Night in South America and was classed as a 250 point event. Thanks to Manuel Rospigliosi for helping to organize it and the to FDR American school for the fantastic venue.

Congratulations to Dave Leahy for winning his third Fight Night tournament, this time at the HJW 2014 Enschede (the Dutch Autumn Juggling Meeting). He beat Johnny Malcolm in the final, Sander Vanpraet in the semi-final and top Dutch combat player Simon A Campo in the first round.
This win moves Dave above fellow British combateer Brook Roberts in the current rankings, though only because Dave has entered so many 250-level tournaments, which can currently replace lesser results at bigger tournaments in the players’ points total. The change in the rankings formula for next year will fix this. The new formula can be previewed on the Fight Night Beta website.
Thanks to Maartin Willy Wils for hosting the tournament. All the results and details can be found on the HJW 2014 tournament page.
